Well the new season is upon us!
Im going to give my prediction of what the new season holds for us.
Il start with who i think will be the best buy this year.
I believe players like Gervinho, A.Young, and Ben Foster will be great additions this year, but as far as been the best addition, im going with N’zogbia as Villa. Last season, he had the highest amount of dribbles in the league by some margin, and i believe in a good team like Villa, he will flourish.
Stand out player.
For this one, im going to go for someone who was bought that year, Laurent Koscielny. He had superb games last season, but also had some awful games, this season though im predicting big things from the french man, he will most likely line up with Vermaelen this year and i believe they will be a strong partnership.
Breakthrough player.
If he gets enough games this season i would say E.Frimpong at Arsenal, but i worry he wont get enough games with strong performer A.Song infront of he for the same position. So im going to go for McEachran at Chelsea. Although he may not be a first teamer all season, i believe he will get a lot of games this season, and i expect him to shine and take the young player of the season this season.
Disaster of the season
Im going to go for De Gea at Man United. I just worry for him having such responsibility at so early on in his career. I dont believe he will be terrible but i think he will make a lot of mistakes and let in sloppy goals.

Surprise team of the season
Im going for Wigan, i believe that their young team will perform this season, and i dont expect them to be down near the relagation zone this season like everyone else expects.
First manager to be sacked
Im going with Steve Kean, i think his Blackburn side will struggle and end in him getting the sack but when a new manager comes in i expect them to survive.
So there you go thats my predictions for the season ahead, lets hope its a bloody good one!

Agree with you about Koscielny, De Gea, and Steve Kean. Although Wilshere, if he stays fit, can take his game to another level also.
Haven’t seen any game of other teams in pre-season so will hold back on other comments till the end of the month.
Surprise team? I hope Wolves do well. They have changed their ways from thuggery to good quality football and I for one would like to see them rewarded (hoping they don’t regress).
